Dodge Bearings was founded in 1880 in Mishawaka, Indiana, initially manufacturing power transmission pulleys before expanding into mounted bearing units. Dodge became the dominant American brand for pillow blocks, flange units, and take-up bearings used in conveyors, aggregate processing, and heavy industry. Now owned by ABB, Dodge part numbers use a proprietary system — P2B-SC, P2B-DL series prefixes — for housed units that map to but differ from standard UCP/UCFL ISO designations.
